Patriot Welcomes Jamal N. Al Tahat as Regional Geotechnical Manager for Ohio

Patriot is pleased to welcome Jamal N. Al Tahat as Regional Geotechnical Manager for Ohio.

Jamal brings more than 20 years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience serving developers, state and local agencies, utilities, and investment groups throughout Ohio and across the United States. His diverse background includes large-scale infrastructure projects, electric utilities, transmission lines, pipelines, and renewable energy including power generation, solar, and wind developments.

Throughout his career, Jamal has led complex subsurface investigation programs and provided technical expertise for foundation design, slope stability evaluations, and geotechnical risk assessment. He has successfully managed geotechnical engineering teams while delivering solutions for demanding, schedule-driven projects.

An Ohio resident, Jamal earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Akron and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree at The Ohio State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
