The project consisted of an approximately 200,000 square foot recreation and fitness center at Ball State University. The facility includes a new fitness center, five-court gym, indoor turf field, multi-purpose rooms, new practice facilities for the women’s gymnastics team, and 1/8 mile running track. Additionally, space was also constructed for University-run services. Patriot’s services for this project included soils, footings, concrete, masonry, structural steel, asphalt, and sprayed fire-resistive material testing and inspection; along with reinforcing steel observations and observations of installed underpinning elements. All testing and inspection were performed in accordance with applicable ASTM and ACI requirements
