Evansville

Evansville, Indiana

Prior to construction in late 2009, Patriot Engineering performed the Geotechnical Investigation for this project. Along with the geotechnical investigation, Patriot performed pile load tests by using strain gauges in the piles. With this process, Patriot was able to provide significant cost savings to the project. Construction began in late 2009 for the 127.5 million dollar facility. The arena has over 11,000 seats, and hosts basketball, hockey, concerts, and exhibitions.  Patriot performed auger cast pile inspections, concrete testing, and inspections, reinforcing steel inspections, field density testing, and fire stopping inspections. The Evansville Arena is on opened in November of 2011.
