Construction began on this 400,000-square-foot GM Distribution Center with a fast-track schedule for completion in just eight months. Patriot’s services for this project included special inspections, lime soil stabilization, concrete, asphalt, structural steel, masonry, and roofing testing and observations. Patriot also performed Floor Flatness and Floor Levelness within 12 hours of completion of each 60,000 square feet of concrete placement. Patriot’s staff consisted of a Senior Engineering Technician on-site full time with three additional technicians on call to assist when needed. Patriot’s accredited laboratory maintained a 24 to 48-hour turnaround on all soils, concrete, and asphalt samples for testing.
