West Lafayette, Indiana

The new Klondike Middle School marked the first phase of Tippecanoe School Corporation’s multi-stage improvement plan for the Klondike campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. Situated on 40 acres east of the existing campus, the 180,000-square-foot facility was designed to serve students in grades 6 through 8 and to accommodate the community’s continued growth.

Patriot provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services for this significant project. Our geotechnical scope included subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, and foundation recommendations that supported the design and construction of the new school building and associated site improvements.

During construction, Patriot performed field testing and observation services, including soil testing and observations, footing excavation observations, field density testing, and proofrolling observations, ensuring that site preparation and structural elements met project specifications and quality standards.

The new Klondike Middle School opened in time for the 2024–2025 school year, providing students with a modern, safe, and inspiring environment for learning. Patriot is proud to have supported the Tippecanoe School Corporation in delivering this important community project.
