GM Distribution Center - Trotwood, Ohio
Construction began on this 400,000 square feet GM Distribution Center (Trotwood Warehouse) in January 2008 with a fast track schedule for completion in August 2008. Our primary contact for this project was Mr. Chuck Cornell (248-521-3263) Construction Manager for Oliver / Hatcher Construction. The Project Engineer was Paul Bater with Professional Engineering Associates, Inc (248-689-9090). Patriot's services for this project included special inspections, lime / cement soil stabilization, concrete, asphalt, structural steel, masonry, and roofing testing and observations. Patriot also preformed Floor Flatness and Floor Levelness within 12 hours of completion of each 60,000 square feet of concrete placement. Patriot's staff consisted of a Senior Engineering Technician on site full time with three additional technicians on call to assist when needed. Patriot's local laboratory maintained a 24 to 48 hour turnaround on all soils, concrete, and asphalt samples for testing.
